Overview

The North East is a magnificent and amazing tapestry of nature, events, and people. You can be touched by its mist, rain, and rivers, stirred by its powerful, evocative history and overwhelmed by the seeming gentleness of its people. With a population of about forty million people, there are not less than 220 ethnic tribes in the eight states comprising the region. The area comprises various northeast honeymoon destinations including Sikkim, Guwahati, Kaziranga, Shillong, Cherrapunjee, etc.

Day 1
Arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station
As per the itinerary of the northeast package for 6 nights 7 days, your package will start from Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station. After you arrive at the Airport/Railway Station, you will be picked up by one of our representatives and transferred to the Hotel. You can relax and refresh yourself in the hotel for the further trip. The first spot which will be witnessed by you includes the sightseeing of Guwahati comprising Basistha ashram, Balaji Temple/River Cruise at Brahmaputra River, Sankardev Kalakshetra etc. After returning from the beautiful sightseeing you will have an overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 2
_ Kaziranga: local sightseeing
After having one night stay at Guwahati, have your breakfast and then move to Kaziranga. On reaching Kaziranga one of our representatives will guide you and you can explore the local tea estate at Kaziranga, Rubber garden, Orchid Park etc. After having an amazing experience at the local tea estates you will have an overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 3
Major attractions at Kaziranga and drive to Shillong
Enjoy an early morning safari on elephant back and get up close to the Rhinos. You’re your breakfast and then leave for a jeep safari to the Central Range of the park. After enjoying the ride you will head towards a second jeep safari ride to the Western range in the afternoon where you will see Hog Deers, Sambhars, and Rhinos feeding in the plentiful. In the evening you will be driving to Shillong. Have an overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 4
Sightseeing in Shillong
The journey of Shillong proceeds further and on the 4th day, you will visit Shillong Peak, Elephant fall, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake etc. In the evening you are free to explore the local market, shopping in Police Bazar etc. Have an overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 5
Visiting Cherrapunjee
After having breakfast we will head towards the road of Cherrapunjee. Having the heaviest rainfall destination in the world, Cherrapunjee possesses some impressive limestone caves and exotic waterfalls. At Cherrapunjee visit the Nohkalikai falls, the world’s largest waterfall. Also visit Mawsmai falls, Eco Park, Thangkharang Park, kynrem falls, seven sisters falls and a few caves including Arwah, Mawmluh, Mawsmai cave etc. Later, on the way back to Shillong you will visit Shillong Peak, Elephanta falls, Mawkdok valley, spread eagle falls etc. Have an overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6
Visiting Mawlynnong and drive to Dawki
After breakfast, we will head towards Mawlynnong. Visit the living root bridge and Asia’s cleanest village named Mawlynnong village. We will also visit Umngot River and experience the local sightseeing at Dawki. Heading towards Bangladesh border we will return back to Shillong in evening and have an overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 7
Shillong: Departure
Time to say goodbye and pack your bags with some wonderful memories

Have your breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Guwahati Airport for onward journey.
